A condition the test relies on, for anything that is not a response: the state a handler left behind, a count. what says what the condition means.

Example
assert(expect(1 + 1 == 2, "arithmetic works"));

Doesn't run in the browser (skipped on wasm).

expect :: (condition: bool, what := "", loc := #caller_location) -> bool
